Official Page of The Chicken Farm Art Center, founded in 1971 as a place for artists to live and work, with help from a lot of friends, the Art Center has grown into a premier West Texas / San Angelo attraction. This unique 3 acre compound has Art galleries, 15 artists studios, a wonderful Bed and Breakfast, and a Restaurant in a converted Grain Silo. Feb - December the Chicken Farm Art Center has

Freedom gives creativity room to grow.

Today, on Juneteenth, we pause to honor a pivotal moment in American history and celebrate the enduring strength, culture, creativity, and contributions of Black communities.

The Chicken Farm Art Center has always been a place where stories are shared, voices are heard, and art brings people together. As we reflect on the meaning of freedom, we are reminded that creativity thrives when every voice has the opportunity to be seen, heard, and valued.

May we continue building a community rooted in respect, understanding, and the shared belief that art has the power to connect us all.
