Many of you are familiar with dream catchers, most are machine made. Lacking the true power that dream catchers hold, Sarah creates these with intention and love. Weaving gem stones antlers and feathers in each piece unlocking the truest potential and power in each dreamcatcher !

“Hi there! My name is Sara Mingus, and I’m the owner of BigSun Crafts. I’ve been creating various types of art throughout my life, experimenting with different mediums and techniques. However, I’ve always found myself drawn back to making dreamcatchers. My mom taught me the art when I was younger, and over the past two decades, I’ve dedicated myself to perfecting my craft.
Most of my dreamcatchers are inspired by the natural world around us. I try to use mostly naturally occurring materials, such as precious gemstones for beads and ethically sourced shed feathers from a farm in Latvia, EU.
Outside of crafting, I enjoy hiking, kayaking, spending time with friends and family, and anything that involves being outdoors. I’m also an avid collector of animal skulls and other natural materials, I currently have over 80 skulls in my collection.
Deciding to officially sell my art has been one of the most challenging decisions I’ve ever made. I understand that many people struggle with the thought of selling their creations, but with the unwavering support of my friends and partner, I’ve decided to take the plunge.
My primary goal with this endeavor is to bring a touch of nature into people’s living spaces. I believe that there’s always room for more “outside” on the inside, and I’m excited to share my dreamcatchers with the world.”
