IT'S JUST ONE MONTH FROM TODAY!
We're counting down to an unforgettable celebration at Ballard Park on July 4th as we proudly host TWO incredible milestones: Tupelo's 40th Annual All-America City Family Picnic in the Park Celebration AND America's 250th Birthday Celebration!
This year's event is going to be BIGGER than ever! We'll have a few very special commemorative t-Shirts and unique fans for sell. Of course, there will be food vendors with your favorite food items and ice-cold beverages!
At 4:00pm, the Kids' Patriotic Parade will start! Kids decorate your bikes, scooters, wagons, and more in red, white, and blue and join the fun! Then, it's the Kids' Music Hour featuring The Blind Eye DJ, Ron Cottom, who will keep the party going for our youngest patriots.
Our Live Music Begins at 6:15 PM! We're thrilled to welcome home Tupelo native Silas Caldwell, who grew up right here in our community before making his way to Nashville. He's returning home to help us celebrate Independence Day in style!
Next, it's Mighty McFly! Get ready for an incredible night of your favorite 80s and 90s hits that will have everyone singing along and dancing!
Then, it's EVERYONE's favorite part of this special celebration... Fireworks at 9:00 PM! This promises to be one of the best fireworks displays in North Mississippi!
We are also honored to have several military service organizations on-site distributing complimentary hand-held American flags as part of our 40th Annual Celebration.
This special FREE celebration would not be possible without the generous support of our sponsors:
Barnes Crossing Auto Group, FNB Bank of Tupelo, Tupelo Convention & Visitors Bureau, Tennessee Valley Authority, The UPS Store, Coldwell Banker and Southern Real Estate, Tupelo Music Academy, Plan House Printing, iHeartRadio, Mitchell Distributing, Presley Eye Care, Westside Hardware, Tupelo Coca-Cola Bottling Company, Waste Management, and the City of Tupelo.
Mark your calendars, bring your family and friends, and join us for an unforgettable Independence Day celebration at Ballard Park!
