why do I make coasters as test tiles?
1. They are a small size to sacrifice if something goes bad
2. Surface area, enough to give me an idea if I like what I’m trying
3. Small enough to tuck under things in the kiln, I can usually always squeeze one into a firing
4. You get a super fun and unique set of coasters!

Pro tip: use the same cookie cutter to make all your tests and they will stack perfectly!

wavy sunset mug 🌅☕️ always inspired by the world! this sunset colorway has been around for a while & it always makes me so happy! I love watching the sunset, this week we were able to watch the sunset over the lake while camping 🏕️ such a beautiful, peaceful moment. My goal is to capture that feeling in these mugs 🫶I hope you get to watch a beautiful sunset today, wherever you are!
