Now that it's official, I can share the project SixTwo will be shooting on Tuesday. We will be shooting scenes from a pilot episode of a fashion makeover show that appeals to both men and women! The critical shot we must capture... a poorly dressed mannequin. Exploding.

The external battery for our BMCC has arrived! No more shoots limited to less than an hour. Also, another 16gb of ram is on the way, which will bring the main editing rig up to 32gb total!

Nothing like several late-night edits and uploads in a row to give a "unique" (aka "sleep-deprived") perspective on life. Now, the question remains... sleep while the video encodes and publish during the daylight hours, or stick it out and be done with it before the sun rises?

There are some great deals on hard drives this weekend! Newegg has a 3TB Seagate External HD for $100! TigerDirect has the same drive for $110, but I had a $70 gift card, so I scored the drive for $40. Hard to beat that!
