Carmen Inside Out, the critically acclaimed one-woman show based on Bizet’s Carmen, has been enjoyed by enthusiastic audiences around the world since its 2017 debut. Now, Kirstin Chávez is bringing this compelling night of theater and its iconic title character back to Kingsbury Hall. Come hear international superstars Richard Troxell, Luis Ledesma, and Utah’s own Kirstin Chávez, along with students from the University of Utah College of Fine Arts, as they perform an expanded version of Carmen Inside Out that will feature all your favorite musical moments from the opera. Intended to herald the premiere of the show’s film version that is slated to stream world-wide at the end of 2025, this live performance is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that will only happen in Salt Lake City!
