Now casting for both AMATEUR and PROFESSIONAL for our next cabaret installment, The Goetia Cabaret! Aerial, burlesque, dance, drag and more are welcome to apply. Links can be found in our bio. Don’t delay as casting will begin immediately to prevent multiple applications for the same demon.
November is our spooky show of the year! This theme is going to require a bit of research. Our theme this round will focus on Demons of the Ars Goetia, which is a part of the Lesser book of Solomon. There are 72 demons listed in the Ars Goetia for you to select from. These are the only demons that will be considered. I am NOT looking for types of demons, pop culture demons, biblical demons etc. As you research, take note of their appearance, symbolism, animals they control, or powers they have and how you can incorporate those things into your act. As with all our shows, go heavy on the theatrics and character work. Tell a story or create a scene. You’re welcome to use props and set pieces. Utilize fellow performers as needed. Have too many ideas? Submit multiple applications! I prefer to have more options than less as I cannot guarantee your first pick of character. Can’t think of anything? Reach out and I’ll try to help you brainstorm.
