Just a few tasty details from That's a Relief - Lasting Impressions exhibition.

Saltgrass Printmakers had a very successful year that focused on relief printmaking and community building!

For our final exhibition of 2025, we are presenting That’s a Relief – Lasting Impressions. This juried exhibition of local printmakers celebrates the enduring beauty and innovation of relief printmaking — from traditional techniques to experimental approaches that push the boundaries of the medium.

Took this Big Boy out for a test drive this morning!

We will be printing large prints starting at 10am Saturday, 9/13 and Sunday, 9/14 in front of Saltgrass Printmakers.

All summer community members have been carving their individual blocks. Experienced and novice carvers took the challenge to carve 24"x24 blocks.

This weekend we will combine the blocks in many different ways to create a large print.

The 2025 Year of the Snake Exquisite Co**se project is about our creative community working in collaboration. Come celebrate with us! Everyone is welcome to watch us roll out the prints!!

Thank you to for the generous and continued support that makes community projects like this possible.

P.S. Construction for the 400 South Viaduct Bike Trail has begun. Follow the detour signs to get to the printshop.

If you know you want to carve a block but can’t make it on May 17th, send Stefanie a message – [email protected] She’ll reserve a block for you.

Saltgrass is here creating pressure prints with our neighbors. I started with a simple tree drawing across from our booth. Then with push pins, thread, needle and tape I made the matrix. At last, the tree print in the shadow of a Maple tree.
