I just want to make weird art, that people can see on a free public application.

I’m not sure how to do this besides just posting for the sake of sharing the art. But taking the photo is disruptive to my whole process so I often forget. So I am trying to document it now. 👍🏻

I got a lot of people asking for my Utah Jello to be made into a sticker a few weeks ago. So I went ahead and did that. Plus a new redesign of an old sticker!

I back to my ol’ ways. Making embroideries with naughty words.

My best selling sticker of all time is “c**t” and it’s such an interesting conversation starter at markets. Some people won’t even look at it while others buy 5 for all their friends. I’ve been called a c**t more than once, and not always nicely. One time it was in a bar, that was bad. But there’s something nice about taking back the word and doing it with “women’s” art. This woman’s art is not quiet and it’s not always polite. It’s real c**ty.

9 years ago I showed up to my first big market with a Praise the Lard embroidery. And today I’m working on a cute little Slam Pig (rhori fans know what I’m talking about). Some things never really change.

All done with this huge commission for Stadler Rail!

It’s 9 feet wide and 5 ft tall, made of three canvases that I custom painted to get the right faded background. They wanted to have people sign the canvases for the 10th anniversary so it needed to be open, but remind folks of the work they do. So I added a little version of their train, traveling through the night. I finished it ahead of the 3 day deadline too! It feels good to make these big signs for folks, and watch them go from idea to reality.

I have picked up my embroidery needle, thread, fabric and hoop again. After 2 1/2 years away from daily sewing, I’m happy to find my skills haven’t faded and I haven’t forgotten anything too major. Actually, I feel like I’m a better thread painter now, having painted for a couple years.

So what are these birds for, you might ask. If you’re a part of my p@tr3on then you already know, but for everyone else, I’m working on some new patterns! These are all little patch patterns! This time I’m getting all my ducks (birds) in a row before I release anything. I want to make sure the patterns are fun and simple to follow along, while also being easy enough for beginners and challenging enough for veterans.

Tomorrow is my first big market of the year! hosted by ! I’ve got some new stuff for you, plus lots of stickers and postcards.
