Experience the Choreographic Festival: Spotlight Utah!

Featuring the best of Utah contemporary dance with a groundbreaking fusion of modern movement and classical music from Ririe-Woodbury Dance Company, Repertory Dance Theatre, and SALT Contemporary Dance.

Join us for the innovative choreography and artistic excellence with world premieres from guest choreographers Donald Byrd, a Tony-nominated artist, and Penny Saunders, award-winning choreographer.

Ririe-Woodbury will be presenting the McCallum Theatre’s Palm Desert Choreography Festival 2025 Grand Prize Award-winning “The Rate We Change,” by Kellie St. Pierre. The Rate We Change is an innovative, collaborative performance featuring six dancers, a human-powered spinning platform, and composer Daniel Clifton. This work embodies the metaphor of evolving, ongoing change within our dynamic world. The work sheds light on the nature of embracing instability to find stability, summoning courage to cultivate patience, and exerting effort to attain a sense of ease.
