I'm proud to have been part of the effort that made Ranked Choice Voting a reality in Utah, but that may all go away as an option for future elections.
SLC will be using Ranked Choice Voting in November, saving us taxpayer $, promoting civility & eliminating the idea of "spoiler" candidates. Sadly RCV is currently scheduled to go away in Utah after the 2025 election. Contact your Utah Legislature House Representative & Utah State Senator & ask them to make Ranked Choice Voting a permanent option for municipalities, & to extend it to our whole ballot.
