At Rocky Mountain RC Raceway we are so excited to announce a new class we will be racing. The long awaited off-road Ready to Run class!
We have finalized the rules as seen below. We will be racing this class on Wednesdays and Saturdays. We are excited to see you all out racing!
🏁Ready-to-Run Class Rules🏁
-The Ready-to-Run Class is intended to be a simple, affordable, and beginner-friendly racing class for ready-to-run based vehicles. The goal of this class is to provide close, fair racing while keeping the rules easy to understand and the cost of entry low.
🏎️Vehicle Eligibility🏎️
-Any ready-to-run based vehicle is allowed.
-Vehicles must remain based on a ready-to-run platform. Bolt-on ready-to-run replacement parts, factory option parts, and common durability upgrades are allowed.
-This class is intended for RTR-based vehicles and similar entry-level cars. Final vehicle eligibility is at the discretion of the race director.
🔋Battery Rules🔋
-Vehicles are limited to a 2S LiPo battery.
-Batteries must be properly secured in the vehicle and used in a safe manner.
⚡️Motor and Electronics Rules⚡️
-RTR-based electronics and common bolt-on replacement electronics are allowed.
-The intent of this class is to keep racing simple, fun, and fair. Vehicles with extensive performance modifications or a clear speed advantage over the rest of the field may be moved to another class at the race director’s discretion.
🛞Tire, Wheel, and Setup Rules🛞
-Reasonable tire, wheel, gearing, and setup changes are allowed as long as the vehicle remains safe and fits the intent of the class.
-The race director may make adjustments or restrictions if a specific setup creates an unfair advantage, causes safety concerns, or risks damage to the racing surface.
🏎️Class Breakdown🏎️
-Class breakdown will depend on turnout.The race director may split, combine, or adjust classes as needed to create the fairest and most enjoyable racing possible. This may include separating vehicles by speed, vehicle type, driver skill level, or modification level.
🏁Race Director Discretion🏁
-The race director has final say on vehicle eligibility, class placement, and rule interpretation.
The goal is to give racers a fair place to compete while keeping the class fun, welcoming, and easy to participate in.
