Last summer I met a man at Wheeler
Farmer’s Market.

Learned about his hippie days, paste tomatoes and Italian cooking.

We meet up for brunch sometimes.

He and his wife give me travel tips, and we talk about life and music.

I didn’t get a chance to experience this level of inter-generational connection, and it sure feels nice.

They even have one of my newer art pieces in their home.

Sometimes the ones we choose make all the difference.
