As always we are looking for experienced volunteer team leads and co-leads. It's definitely a time commitment but it's fun and rewarding. We have lots of areas of need from merchandise sales to parade organizing, marketing, accounting, food vendor coordination, logistics, and more. We are pleased to announce the date for Salisbury Pride Parade and Festival 2026 in Downtown Salisbury, Maryland, on October 10th, 2026.

This date coincides with LGBTQIA+ History Month, which occurs each October, and National Coming Out Day on October 11th.

After much thoughtful consideration, the board of Shore Pride Alliance decided to move our wonderful community celebration of love and inclusion to October. This is the same decision that has been made by several other Maryland Pride events, such as Annapolis Pride, Upper Chesapeake Bay Pride, Southern Maryland Pride, and Howard County Pride. This decision is based on a number of factors, including weather, an already crowded June of Pride events, and various other logistical factors.

We not only look forward to bringing you other Pride related events in June, but also are excited to support and promote LGBTQIA+ forward events being organized by partner organizations, such as a special soon-to-be-announced Unity Day being held in late June in Downtown Salisbury, two Pride Proms, as well as the multiple Prides being held across the Eastern Shore and Southern Delaware
