Pssst - it's our next vendor's birthday TODAY! That's right! Kat of Acorn & Oak Fibers (formerly Why Knot Fibers) was born on October 2nd! If you see her this weekend - wish her a Happy Birthday!

There's so much to celebrate since Kat & Steve ( her Hubby) purchased the fiber processing equipment from Stonehedge Fiber Mill early this year and have been working to start producing some of their own yarns! Kat (and her friend Cat) will be at with spinning fiber, hand-dyed yarns, and some sweet swag with their new branding available.

An explosion of color is coming to Fiber Expo!

Imagine Fiber Arts is our next featured vendor! They create hand-dyed yarn in rich tonals, painterly variegateds, gradients, and seasonal colorways inspired by nature, culture, and the built environment.
Their booth is made for makers who love color.
They'll be bringing plenty of fall color to Ann Arbor, along with some of their favorite collections and one-of-a-kind combinations.
Come see them, squish the yarn, explore the color, and find something that inspires your next project!

The Wool Mill at Jehovah Jireh Farm opened in 1999 with the goal to supply fiber artisans with the highest quality materials for their projects. The Wool Mill produces wool and wool / alpaca blend hand spinning roving, felt and hand-spun yarns, as well as a variety of D-I-Y kits and fiber accessories. In 2012 they began making annual buying trips to Ecuador, traveling to remote mountain villages to purchase directly from small family enterprises and women’s cooperatives. Their Ecuadorian offerings, including alpaca blend blankets, yarn and other textiles and Tagua, a sustainable, green substitute for elephant ivory, are Fair Trade. Next up in our vendor highlights is Natural Cycles Farm, LLC ! Natural Cycles Farm is a small diversified farm in Allegan, MI. They operate their farm in a climate beneficial way, using holistic grazing methods, increasing carbon in the soil and building carbon rich wool. Their sheep are Tunis, CVM, and unique fiber crosses who grow beautiful wool. They specialize in using natural dyes for their roving, batts, and yarns and offer a range of natural colored rovings and combed top. They also offer many natural dye kits using both dye materials from their farm and elsewhere so you can create fiber in these wonderful colors! Shepherd and fiber artist Lori Evesque has been into fiber since she was a child and has blossomed as an artist since going full time into sheep farming and fiber in 2017. We're delighted to highlight them for our !
