California Rodeo Salinas Unveils 2027 Commemorative Poster Featuring Cutting Champion Nette Hoover

The California Rodeo Salinas unveiled its 2027 commemorative poster during the annual Stockholders' Dinner on Thursday, October 15th. The artwork features Nette Hoover riding her mare, Jazzen, and celebrates the return of a cherished Rodeo tradition, the Debbie Pedrazzi Memorial Cutting.

Cutting returned to the California Rodeo Track, honoring the history of the sport in Salinas and the lasting legacy of Debbie Pedrazzi. The event was especially meaningful this year when Debbie's daughter, Nette Hoover, was crowned Champion, taking home the coveted gold and silver belt buckle.

Camera roll says October. Our hearts say it’s still Big Week. 🤠❤️

The cheering, the cowboy hats, the familiar faces, and those moments that had everyone watching the arena we’re still thinking about all of it. 🐴👏

One of our favorite parts of looking back is seeing how everyone made the Rodeo their own. A family tradition, a day with friends, or a first visit that turned into a new favorite memory.

To everyone who gave their time, energy, and heart to this year’s California Rodeo Salinas—THANK YOU! From getting things ready to welcoming our fans and keeping busy days moving, your hard work helped bring Big Week to life.

We’re grateful for the familiar faces who return year after year and the new ones who joined in. This Rodeo means so much to so many people, and you’re a big reason why. 🐴👏

The cowboy boot is more than leather and stitching - it's grit, freedom, and the spirit of the West. From ranch hands to rodeo champions, it's carried generations through long days and unforgettable moments. Today we tip our hat to the tradition that built the boot, and to everyone who wears it with pride. Happy National Day of the Cowboy Boot. 🤠
