Christopher, Costume Designer for “Songs for Nobodies,” is a Los Angeles-based designer working across live performance, film, and television. The Western Stage: “Bright Star.” Film/TV credits include: “The Cardinal & the Computer” (CD, Best Sci-Fi - LA Shorts International Film Festival), “Fallout” (ACD, Emmy and CDGA Nominations, Amazon Prime), “Caught Stealing” (ACD, Sony), “The Menu” (ACD, Searchlight/Disney). Live Performance credits include: “Little Gem” (Irish Repertory Theatre), “La Traviata” (Philharmonia of New York), “Harlequin & Pantalone” with Bill Irwin and The Dorrance Dance Company, “West Side Story” (Sioux City Symphony), “Tosca” (Opera Roanoke), “Outlying Islands” (Sugarglass Theatre; Dublin, Ireland), “Mothership” (New York City Ballet, Choreographers Institute) and “Three Sisters,” directed by Mark Wing-Davey (NYU). He is an Associate Artist with Wheelhouse Theater Company. Productions include: “LIFE SUCKS.,” “Happy Birthday, Wanda June,” “Enemy of the People.” His work with the Cherylyn Lavagnino Dance Company has been seen around the world including; Beijing International Contemporary Dance Festival, Kaatsbaan International Dance Center, American Dance Guild, and Danspace Project. As an Associate/Assistant, Christopher has worked alongside designers: Amy Westcott, Susan Hilferty, Constance Hoffman, Jennifer Moeller, and Jen Caprio. MFA, NYU, Martin Pakledinaz Memorial Award. He is a proud member of United Scenic Artists 829 and The Costume Designers Guild Local 892.

John Leguizamo’s hilarious comedy is about a Father on a search through years of Latin history to find a hero for his son’s school project, uncovering the overlooked contributions of Latinos while addressing their absence from American history books.

Irena Hadzi-Dordevic, Scenic Designer for “Songs for Nobodies” by Joanna Murray-Smith, is a Serbian-born scenic and production designer whose work spans film, television, and theater. She holds a BA in Theater and Film Scenography from the Faculty of Applied Arts in Belgrade and an MFA in Stage Design from Northwestern University in Chicago, which she completed in 2021. Since relocating to the United States, Irena has worked extensively in the film industry, serving as art director on a number of feature films, and has contributed scenic designs to a range of theatrical productions, most notably with Chicago Opera Theater. Her professional experience includes productions across Illinois, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Arizona, and California, as well as international work in Iceland, Bosnia, and Serbia.
