Do you need a unique gift for a loved one or a friend? Our Song Wave collection is the perfect way to capture a moment in time or memory and share it in a unique way.
This particular piece is a segment of The Romeo and Juliet Fantasy Overture by Tchaikovsky. It was made as a gift for a friend of mine who is a violinist. I know Tchaikovsky is his favorite composer and this particular song was a very memorable and moving piece for him to play. I used his favorite colors in highly pigmented metallic acrylics and then added foils in random places. Like sunlight dancing off of a visual representation of the notes. 💙🧡🎻🎶🎼
Through this type of art I can take an audible section of a song and turn it into a visual one. As a reminder of something, someone, somewhere or that special little place in time that a person fell in love with.

I am beyond honored to have been able to donate this beautiful sunflower painting to the Salina Symphony for their 70th Anniversary Platinum Gala celebration! As an artist, I am continuing to adapt, learn, and change my technique. I tried so many new things on this one and I can honestly say I'm very proud of how it turned out. I poured my heart into it and I love how it looks different from every angle and literally shimmers in the light. Perfect pairing for a Platinum Gala. We had an amazing evening supporting such a great organization in our community last night.
