Des the Poet, of Wichita, Kansas is going to perform powerful and intriguing spoken word, followed by Mike’s open mic at Mattie’s Grill and Chill on August 23rd. “Des the Poet” focuses his poetry on his thoughts, struggles, and ideas from the past to influence—primarily the youth— hoping to inspire them to reach goals and dreams.
