Now thru the end of Summer (Labor Day Weekend), you can join us for Animal Feedings, Ambassador Animal Meet & Greets, & Keeper Chats, all of which bring you closer to your favorite animals!

🐾 Ambassador Animal Meet & Greets
• Every Saturday and Sunday (except July 4 & 25)
• 9:30 AM & 10 AM
• At Kid's Country Stage (in case of inclement weather, in the Museum)

🦒 Animal Feedings • 10–11 AM
$5 per feeding. Animal participation and weather dependent!
• Fridays – Highland Cow & Camel
• Saturdays – Giraffe
• Sundays – Ostrich

🦁 Keeper Chats
• Every Saturday and Sunday
• Every hour on the hour from 11 - 3 PM

Watch as our keepers begin their day, enjoy the cool morning air, and experience the Zoo as it wakes up!

Stay through past 9 AM and turn it into a full Zoo day adventure!

Just a teeny glimpse into the life of an anteater at Rolling Hills Zoo! 💦

This is Pumpkin - father of our newest anteater pup. He clearly enjoys splashing in the pond, digging in the mud, and investigating those floaty, white things in the air (cottonwood fluff).

Our amazing animal care team provides daily opportunities for our animals to explore, play, forage, problem-solve, and engage in natural behaviors as part of thier animal care - all to keep their minds and bodies healthy!

Every animal at Rolling Hills Zoo receives individualized care based on their species, age, health, and needs. And for anteaters, sometimes that means a little dip in the pool on a warm Kansas day. ❤️
