Acoustic Sounds announces Blues Masters Live — Real blues. Real sound. This new series opens the Blue Heaven Studios archives with previously unreleased performances by Tab Benoit and Tony Joe White. These live recordings are drawn from the Blues Masters at the Crossroads concert series at Blue Heaven Studios in Salina, Kansas. The series ran from 1998 through 2018, bringing generations of blues artists to the stage. Recorded live to 2-track on half-inch tape at 15 inches per second, both performances were captured inside a restored Gothic-style church that serves as Acoustic Sounds’ renowned recording venue.
