Play part deux. Watercolor over acrylic watermarble. Maybe oil or chalk pastel next?

This week I really felt the need to just play. Water marbling is such a meditative process for me and even with the intention to just be with the process and not attach myself to the outcome it can be so hard to cover up those swirly lines I love so much - but layers also bring me so much joy! My goal this year is to make more art, with less attachment and to share it widely.

Happy 2026!! Day 1/31 of creative practice!

Feeling super excited about printing these days and needing to brush up on some skillz. I’ll be carving a little 1.5x2 (ish) stamp each day in January. Looking forward to the cutesy little stamp collection that I’ll have in return!

LMK if you have ideas for cute tiny stamps!

Also … consistency and discipline are not where I thrive, growth edge, here we come.

I have had this idea bouncing around my brain for many years now. Maybe not this exact image…but carving a stamp and letting some magic make the sky. What better place to start than with the view I’m blessed with daily. 🤍

These prints will turn into some cards for family and friends with this first go round, they are not perfect, but definitely made with love (and trial and error). If you’d like a surprise 🌄 sky in your mailbox, DM me your address and I’ll get you on the list!
