🍂Fall is a great time to get a few things checked off around the house before the colder weather settles in.

✅Here’s a quick checklist to help you get started!

✓ Gutters & downspouts: Clear leaves and make sure water drains away from the foundation.

✓ Heat & filters: Schedule a heating tune-up and replace the furnace filter.

✓ Chimney: If you use a fireplace or wood stove, book a sweep and inspection.

✓ Outdoor faucets: Disconnect hoses and shut off exterior water where your home allows.

✓ Doors & windows: Check weatherstripping and caulk for drafts.

✓ Safety & walkways: Test smoke and CO alarms, and clear slippery leaves from steps and paths.

🤔Have a question about your home? I’m always happy to help.🙂

🍃September closings and I really couldn’t have asked for two smoother transactions. Both of my buyers were on top of everything from day one!
A big thank you to Edina Pajazetovic with St. Mary’s Bank for my NH buyer!
And Jen Pintoswith Guaranteed Rate for my MA buyer!
Both were great to work with, responsive and available even after hours when we needed them.
On the sellers side in MA agent Jared Mason was great to work with. 🙌

⭐️It makes such a difference when you have great people working together behind the scenes! ⭐️
🎉Congratulations to both of my buyers on their new homes! 🏡

Self-employed or 1099 and thinking about buying a home?

This is a great financing option that Jen Pintos Guaranteed Rate Affinity NMLS 1596923 shared with me for 1099 borrowers. Qualified buyers may be able to purchase using just one year of 1099 income, with as little as 10% down for certain loan amounts.
If you're self-employed and thought getting a mortgage might be difficult because you don't have the traditional two years of income documentation, this may be an option worth exploring.

Reach out to Jen for the financing details and when you're ready to start looking for a home, reach out to me! 🏡
