Since 1926, the Elsinore Theatre Elsinore Theatre has been one of Salem’s most treasured architectural and cultural landmarks. From vaudeville acts to film screenings to live performances, every moment on stage has contributed to its rich legacy of entertainment. Here’s to 100 more!

We've got big plans!

The historic Elsinore Theatre in Salem has a newly restored façade, and improvements to the interior, including new seats, are planned for 2027. See link below ⬇️

Thank you, Salem Area Chamber of Commerce! We are honored to be recognized as the 2026 Nonprofit of the Year!

This recognition belongs to everyone who has helped keep this historic venue vibrant and relevant: our patrons, volunteers, donors, sponsors, performers, promoters, staff, and community partners.

Over the past year, more than 100,000 people walked through our doors. They attended concerts, comedy shows, community events, dance recitals, town halls, films, school performances, and celebrations. They supported downtown businesses before and after shows. They gathered with friends, discovered new artists, and created lasting memories.

From free Monthly Movie Fun screenings for adults experiencing disabilities to performances representing cultures and communities from across the region and around the world, our goal has always been simple: to enrich our community and enhance quality of life through the performing arts.

Thank you for helping us carry that mission forward for the last century. Here’s to the next 100 years!
