Wonder through the streets of historic Salem with our licensed tour guides and learn the history of the buildings as well as their accounts of spirit activity. You will be advised on the best methods of ghost photography as well as the different types of spectral evidence that appear in people’s home photography. Some highlights of our tour are the Joshua Ward House, the Howard St. Cemetery, Old Salem Prison, and the Lyceum. Lantern in hand. 🏮 🕯️ 👻

Candlelit Walking Tour – The Haunted Neighborhood
Step into Salem’s shadows on our Candlelit Ghostly Walking Tour — a guided journey through the city’s most historic and haunted streets, lantern in hand. Explore notorious sites like the Joshua Ward House, Howard Street Cemetery, Old Salem Prison, and the Lyceum as our storytellers share chilling tales of ghostly encounters and documented hauntings.

🕯️ October Schedule
• Weekdays: Tours begin at 7:00 PM
• Weekends: Tours start at 5:00 PM and depart every half hour until close (approximately 10:00 PM)

🎟️ Tickets:
Limited tickets are available online. Same-day tickets can be purchased in person starting at 10:00 AM.

Celebrating 30 years in 2023, this is one of Salem’s longest-running walking tours. With lantern in hand, light your own path through the city’s shadowy streets as you hear timeless tales of hauntings and history on this unforgettable one-hour journey. 45 to 60 minutes long, this walking tour takes you to approximately 7 different documented haunted historical sites such as the Joshua Ward House, Charter Street Cemetery and the site of Bridge Bishop’s apple orchard, telling you both the history and the ghost story that took place.
