One of our Munchkin parents perfectly captured what theatre is really all about:

While audiences see the finished magic under the lights, there’s so much more happening behind the scenes… kids finding their confidence, trying something new, cheering each other on, making friendships, learning to work as a team, and discovering the joy of creating something together.

🎭 HELP US CELEBRATE 50 YEARS OF COMMUNITY THEATRE! 🎭

For 50 years, Salem Community Theatre has brought stories to life, created memories, and given countless actors, musicians, artists, volunteers, and audience members a place to belong. ❤️

As we prepare to celebrate our 50th Season, we’re asking our community to help us keep the curtain rising for the next 50 years.

Putting on a production takes so much more than what happens onstage. From sets and costumes to lighting, sound, royalties, rehearsal spaces, programs, and everything in between, the costs add up quickly. 🎟️
