🎭🌟 Big congratulations are in order! 🌟🎭

We are thrilled to celebrate Dallas Dispenza and Zach Nicolof, two talented young performers who are part of the Salem Community Theatre family!

You may remember both Dallas and Zach from The Lion King Jr. last season, and many of you also saw Dallas shine on our stage in Frozen Jr. this past February. Their families have been wonderful supporters of our theatre, and we love watching these young people grow both on and off the stage.

This past weekend, Dallas and Zach returned from the National Speech & Debate Tournament, where they achieved an incredible accomplishment—placing 8th in the entire nation! 🇺🇸🏆

Their hard work, dedication, confidence, and talent continue to make our community proud. Please join us in congratulating these outstanding young men on this remarkable achievement!

The Salem Community Theatre is thrilled to announce that the finish line for our long-awaited auditorium seat replacement project is finally in sight!

Thanks to a $100,000 allocation from the State of Ohio Capital Budget, we are one giant step closer to providing our patrons with the comfortable, modern seating experience they deserve. This investment will have a lasting impact on our theatre, our audiences, and our community for generations to come.

The Salem Community Theatre would like to extend its sincere gratitude to State Representative Monica Robb-Blasdel, whose office was instrumental in securing these much-needed funds. Without Representative Robb-Blasdel’s assistance, dedication, and genuine passion for the people she serves, this project would not have been possible.

Representative Robb-Blasdel has consistently demonstrated her commitment to strengthening communities across our region, and we are incredibly thankful for her support of the arts and the important role Salem Community Theatre plays in the community.

For years, replacing our aging seats has been one of the theatre’s most important goals. With this generous funding, we can finally see that goal becoming a reality. While there is still work ahead, this milestone brings us closer than ever to welcoming audiences into a more comfortable and enjoyable theatre experience.

On behalf of our Board of Directors, volunteers, performers, patrons, and supporters, thank you, Representative Monica Robb-Blasdel, for believing in our mission and helping ensure that Salem Community Theatre continues to serve our community for many years to come.

Ohio Governor Mike DeWine today signed Senate Bill 450, the capital budget bill for fiscal years 2027 and 2028.

Last evening, SCT Board Members Melissa Kuttler and Kathleen Lassiter had the honor of attending Salem Community Foundation’s 60th Anniversary Dinner and Celebration.

Like so many organizations throughout our community, SCT has benefited from the Foundation’s decades of dedication, generosity, and unwavering commitment to the future of Salem and its vital community partners. Their support has helped strengthen local organizations, create opportunities, and make a lasting impact on countless lives.

We extend our sincere gratitude to the Salem Community Foundation for everything they have done, not only for SCT, but for the entire Salem community. Congratulations on 60 incredible years of service, leadership, and giving. Here’s to many more years of making a difference!
