A special post for those that participated in their last rodeo with SIJRA today- you will be missed!

Today we watched a truly special group of young cowboys and cowgirls ride in their last SIJRA rodeo. It’s hard to put into words how proud we are of each and every one of them. From early mornings in the arena to late nights under the lights, they’ve shown what grit, heart, and dedication really look like.

These kids have worked tirelessly — pushing through challenges, lifting each other up, and showing the kind of sportsmanship and character that make the rodeo family so special. They’ve grown not just as competitors, but as incredible young people ready to take on whatever comes next.

To our riders: your determination, kindness, and courage inspire us all. The arena won’t be the same without you- you’ve left big boots to fill.

As one chapter closes, we know this is just the beginning. The lessons learned in the dirt and dust will carry you far — in rodeo, and in life. We’ll miss you deeply, but we can’t wait to see the amazing things your futures hold.

Keep riding strong, and never forget where you came from❤️

What a weekend to wrap up our rodeo season!

Our two-day rodeo was filled with excitement! We began with Queen and Princess Horsemanship, followed by a sponsor appreciation breakfast to honor those who continue to support our association.

A heartfelt thank-you to everyone who donated or participated in our silent and live auctions — your generosity directly benefits our SIJRA youth and helps ensure the future of our organization.

We shared a wonderful pitch-in dinner followed with a fun and spirited obstacle course under the lights (special thank to Jillian Ball Gettelfinger and her team for organizing!).

On Sunday, Frontline Christian Ministries provided a beautiful Cowboy Church service, offering the perfect reflection to start our last rodeo of the year.

We extend our deepest gratitude to all who made this event and season possible —
• the contestants who gave their all
• the parents and families who showed unwavering support
• the judges and volunteers who kept everything running smoothly
• the vendors who kept everyone well-fed
• the sponsors whose continued commitment makes it all possible.

It takes a village to make a season like this happen, and we’re so grateful for ours. Thank you for helping us finish this rodeo season strong!
