Kick off the holiday season with some inspiring card-making. This class is designed for low-pressure, creative inspiration. Some inspiration photos and design ideas will be shared. Use your preferred medium. Instruction will be provided in watercolor and/or colored pencil when needed. The emphasis for this class will be on having fun and painting together more than an intensive instruction class. Please feel free to bring your own inspiration photos as well.

I hope you can make it to Westminster Festival of Fine Arts in Salem, October 17-19. I will join a group of wonderful artists and craftsman in this lovely show that celebrates the arts and raises funds for college scholarships. In addition to some original pieces, I will have prints and greeting cards for sale. I hope to see you there!

Update: this sold before the show, so it will not be included after all.
My newest painting, as yet unnamed, will be shown at the Westminster Festival of Fine Art in October. About the subject, I love early fall, with the sunflowers and all the little birds foraging the seeds. This is a homage to that.

We have these endearing little house finches that nest in our backyard, and frequent our feeder. Watching birds has warmed my heart on many a gray morning. I wanted to coat their instinctive care for their eggs and babies in this painting. Nature is a great treasure and one of my core values, to care for it.
