Come celebrate creativity at the 4th annual nature+nurture Maker’s Market coming to Downtown Salem, Ohio! Saturday August 8th from 10:00 to 3:00pm.

Our talented young artists from Jen’s Paint Cellar will be showcasing their original works of art and stepping into the role of real makers! Stop by their booths to admire their creations, ask questions, and hear firsthand about the inspiration, techniques, and creative process behind each piece.

This is a chance to encourage young entrepreneurs, celebrate imagination, and see what happens when creativity is given room to grow. Every painting, sculpture, and handmade creation tells a unique story, and our artists can’t wait to share theirs with you!

🐫Desert Landscape Wall Hanging🌵 Summer Art Camp!

Your little artist will journey into the beauty of the desert as they create a mixed-media Desert Landscape Wall Hanging inspired by rugged landscapes & fascinating desert wildlife. We will use:
🌵watercolor techniques
🌵acrylic paint techniques
🌵rich textures & color palette
🌵sketching & patterns
🌵wood, string, & beads to transform into a decorative wall hanging.
📚read and explore educational book pairings such as the “Desert Giant” & “Over & Under the Canyon”

Join us this week to create this beautiful Desert Landscape Wall Hanging that combines painting and collage into a mixed-media masterpiece! Cost is $110 for Ages 6. & up. Limited spots!

🇺🇸❤️ Red, White & Blue Crew – Another Monday of Creativity & Gratitude! ❤️🇺🇸

Mondays at Jen’s Paint Cellar are all about creating with purpose! This week our amazing artists painted more patriotic themed gifts of art to send off to veteran’s with stars, stripes, and summer spirit. 🇺🇸🩴

As each brushstroke came to life, we talked about the freedoms we enjoy and the brave men and women who make them possible. These paintings are more than colorful summer art—they’re heartfelt reminders to appreciate those who have served and continue to serve our country.

A huge thank you to Xterra Health for sponsoring our Red, White & Blue Crew program and helping make this meaningful experience possible for our young artists.

💛💙 BELLO!! It was a Minion kind of weekend! 💙💛

We celebrated Charlie turning the BIG 6 with the most adorable Minion Paint Party at Jen’s PaintCellar! 🎉🎂

Our little artists painted their very own silly Minions, laughed, created, and celebrated Charlie’s special day with lots of smiles and imagination! 🎨👓🍌

Happy 6th Birthday, Charlie! 🥳 Thanks for letting us be part of your unforgettable celebration. We hope your year is filled with adventure, laughter, and maybe just a little Minion mischief! 💙🍌.

ADOPT-A-PET ADVENTURE | Summer Art Camp Recap 🐶🎨💛

What a paws-itively perfect week at Jen’s Paint Cellar! Our little animal lovers had the best time welcoming some adorable new furry friends into their hearts.

Each young artist adopted a puppy in need of a forever home and designed and crafted a one-of-a-kind cozy pet carrier to take their new companion home in. From colorful paint to creative details, every carrier was as unique as its new owner!

For the second half of camp, our artists created the sweetest watercolor pet portraits. We saw an amazing variety of lovable friends come to life—from capybaras, kitties, dragons, and dogs to so many imaginative creatures! Each painting was filled with personality, creativity, and lots of heart.

And to make the day even more special, we celebrated CHARLIE’S BIG 6! 🥳🎉
Donuts, birthday songs, dancing, and lots of smiles made for the perfect celebration. Happy 6th Birthday, Charlie! We loved celebrating with you! 🍩🎈💙

Thank you to all of our wonderful artists for another unforgettable week filled with creativity, laughter, new friendships, and a whole lot of puppy love. We can’t wait to see everyone for next weeks adventure! 🐾💕🎨

- these paws-itively perfect projects are all about our favorite furry friends. All this Monday and Thursday 9 to 1:00pm. Adopt a stuffed pet, create a cozy house with paints and embellishments and custom accessories with clay, beads and more to pair with your adopted pet. Draw and paint a portrait to make the bond between you and our beloved friends.

Capture the SPARKLE of a warm summer evening! We’ll use NEON 🌟 colors, creative techniques, and plenty of imagination to bring these tiny lights to life!
🌟Artists will draw and paint the firefly’s on 14x11 canvas with neon acrylic paints.
🌟Artists will use draw a fantastic forest floor including mushrooms & flowers, leaves & insects using neon cake tempera.

Our incredible Red, White & Blue Crew artists poured their hearts into creating one-of-a-kind paintings filled with gratitude, kindness, and patriotic spirit. 🇺🇸🎨

Each canvas is a “Thank You” that will be shipped to veterans and active-duty service members

Watching these kids carefully paint while speaking so proudly about veterans, and encouraging each other is everything!🙌

🌿🦜 Last Week’s Hidden Jungle Summer Art Camp was WILD! 🐆🐸

What an incredible week of creativity and adventure! Our young artists explored the beauty of the rainforest through painting, printmaking, stamping, layering, drawing, and collage while bringing some of the jungle’s most amazing creatures to life.

From colorful toucans and curious chameleons to playful frogs, majestic leopards, and lush tropical foliage, every project was filled with imagination, bold colors, and plenty of artistic discoveries. 🎨🌺

🐯UP THIS WEEK…🦓SAVANNA SUNSET QUEST🐆a bold and playful project inspired by the beauty and wildlife of the African savannah.
