Both for film and live performance, Black Cat Stunts offers uncompromising awesomeness in combat and stunt work. Lara Fury is a graduate of the United Stuntmen's Association's International Stunt School where she was trained in the basics of stunt work, including many forms of combat, from western style brawl to Wu Shu, high profile stunts including, stair falls, high falls, horse work and falls,

and fire burns and technical stunts such as rappelling, snare, and air ram. Lara Fury has been working with swords for 15 years and has choreographed for many live theatre perfomances, Renaissance faires and banquets, and independent film, and has performed all her own stunts in all of them! She trained horses at Kelmscott Rare Breeds Farm in Lincolnville, ME and trained in English style riding for several years at Xenaphon Farms, including basic jumping. Her input into the World of Stage Combat was featured in an article for Renaissance Magazine. Black Cat Stunt Productions is comprised of a team of hard working, professional stage combatants and stunt performers. The primary team includes Lara Fury and her husband and partner Daniel Fury who are the choreographers, and performers Mauro Canepa, Travis Joyce, Will Keary, and T.J. Other very talented performers have worked with the company and a full list is available upon request. Over the next few weeks or so, we're going to post a profile on someone who has worked with Black Cat Stunts! This may be from film or theatre. If you have worked with us in the past and would NOT like to be a part of this, please let us know now, or if you see it posted and would like it taken down, also, please let us know! The goal is to create a working database of stunt performers that can be accessed for stage or screen productions within the next few months. Keep your eyes peeled!
