The Good Witch of Salem is a positive teacher and wellness role model for young children. The Good Witch's mission is shared through magical and engaging content and events. This mission is reinforced through a retail line of educational resources, children's clothing
and accessories, and imaginative toys. Self awareness, self love, and self growth transfer to the love of others. Once children discover their own magic through self confidence they are encouraged to share their gifts with the world! About Ashley Tina
I am an Educator transformed Good Witch living a magical journey! I began my career in Advertising at NBC Universal where I gained valuable skills in a fast paced environment during a short period of time. I loved the excitement and nature of the business, but could not ignore my passion for education and children. I began my career in education in 2008 as a First Grade Teacher under my Elementary License (1-6) where I gained knowledge in classroom management, collaborative leadership, early literacy skills, and social and emotional learning. In 2011, I received my Masters Degree in Moderate Disabilites (PK-8) and worked as an Early Childhood Special Education Teacher for six years. The preschool classroom allowed me the opportunity to connect art and play to learning, sparking a magical approach that starts from within. I soon received licenses in Teaching English as a Second Language (PK-6) and Early Childhood Education. Social and Emotional learning was the primary focus of development as my career in education continued, regardless of age level or subject matter. I inherently was aware that in order for children to flourish in any area of life, it was necessary to have individual needs met to provide security and safety. Once a child feels safe, valued and supported - they fly! Don't we all? In 2017, the magic was released and I chose to fly with it, on my broom of course! I founded the Good Witch of Salem LLC, a retail store, event space, and Good witch character represented by the vibrant color pink. Not only am I the founder and CEO, but I am also the Good Witch of Salem character sharing messages of positivity and providing little learners with the necessary tools from within to discover their own magic. In 2020 I self-published “The Good Witch of Salem,” and continue to create content as a writer, teacher, and artist while the business blossoms.
