We haven't been posting here but most know The Legendary Eclipso was sent to emergency room Sunday night and then admitted to hospital for a upper GI Bleed. He had endoscopy done and bleeding had stopped after 2 blood transfusions, he is now home and doing well, for more on this along with updates check his page. Thanks for all well wishes and prayers.

WWE Hall of Famer and current AEW coach Billy Gunn offered a critical assessment of the current state of professional wrestling during a recent appearance on the All Real Wrestling Podcast.
Gunn expressed frustration regarding the younger generation’s reliance on high-risk maneuvers at the expense of fundamental storytelling and crowd psychology. He described the current style as a "non-stop festival" of dangerous moves, specifically criticizing the frequency of spots on the ring apron.
“It’s just a non-stop festival of how many big moves I can do, and try to kill myself, or fall on my head... It’s insane to me. I don’t get it,” Gunn stated. “Nobody out there knows that the ring apron is harder than the inside. The whole thing’s hard. So what is the difference?”
Gunn argued that this focus on athleticism often results in "lazy" work where wrestlers fail to build anticipation. He noted that when he attempts to coach talent on these issues, some perceive his advice as an attempt to stifle their creativity.
“When I coach them... it’s always a feeling of that I’m trying to keep them from doing their stuff,” Gunn explained. “If it ain’t good, don’t ask me, because I’m telling you it’s not good. Because it does me no good as a coach to encourage the stuff that you’re doing that’s not any good.”

ACW is sad to report the passing of Rick Link, who had a long career working a number of different areas, including Memphis. Link was 66 years old.

He is going to hospice tomorrow and life saving measures will be discontinued including his dialysis. Please pray for
him that his transition will be peaceful. and he will not be in pain anymore. Thank you guys a lot.

44 years ago today on Mid-Atlantic Championship Wrestling, The US Champion Sgt Slaughter came out with his recruit, Private Jim Nelson to discuss his newest foe "that big fat Indian" Wahoo McDaniel.

He then destroyed an opponent in the ring to accentuate the point that he could beat Wahoo.
