We have some exciting opportunities coming up for new and returning dancers to get to know our studio, meet our teachers, and find the perfect classes for the upcoming season!

🏡 **OPEN HOUSE**
📅 Thursday, August 13 & Thursday, August 27
⏰ 5:00–6:30 PM

Stop by our Open House to tour the studio, meet with our **Studio Director**, learn more about our classes and which options may be the best fit for your dancer, and get answers to all your questions. You’ll also have the opportunity to get **fitted for your studio uniform**!

🩰 **FREE TRIAL CLASSES**
📅 Thursday, August 20
⏰ 5:00–7:00 PM

Our Free Trial Classes are for dancers **entering Kindergarten and up**! Dancers will get to try a class for about 10 minutes, meet their teachers, experience the studio, and get a little taste of what dance at our studio is all about. ✨

**Registration is required for Free Trial Classes**, so be sure to reserve your spot!

💗 Have a preschooler who would like to try a class? We’d love to meet them, too! **Reach out to us directly**, and we can set up a trial class that’s a great fit for their age.

Whether your dancer is brand new to dance or looking for a new studio, we can’t wait to meet you and help you find the right fit! 💕

We’ve made a little room for some BIG dance fun! 💕🩰

Due to the excitement around our preschool classes, we’ve added **TWO NEW preschool class times on Tuesdays!** 🎉

When I opened the doors to Marissa’s Dance Academy, it was never just about teaching dance steps. It was about creating a place where every child feels seen, encouraged, and celebrated—a place where they can grow not only as dancers, but as people.

As a dance teacher, I’ve seen firsthand how movement can build confidence, spark creativity, and help children thrive. I wanted to create a studio where every child feels like they belong, regardless of their experience or ability.

That’s why our motto is “Every Body is a Dancer.” Because I truly believe dance is for everyone.

So when people ask what I want to do with this space...

I want to fill it with joy.
I want to fill it with community.
I want to fill it with families who become lifelong friends.
I want to fill it with children who leave each class believing in themselves just a little bit more.

✨ Our 2026–2027 Dance Season Schedule is Here! ✨

Registration is now open for classes running September through May for dancers ages 2 and up! Whether your child is taking their very first dance class or is ready to grow their skills, we have a place for them at Marissa’s Dance Academy. 💗

Many of our classes are already filling quickly, so don’t wait to reserve your spot!

💡 Don’t see a class that fits your schedule? Join the waitlist anyway! Waitlists help us determine where there’s enough interest to:

✨ Add additional class times
✨ Open new sections
✨ Move dancers into classes as spots become available

The more families who join a waitlist, the more likely we are to add another class to accommodate everyone 😉

🎉 What a week at Pajama Jam Dance Camp! 🩷🩰

Our dancers spent the week making new friends, learning fun dances, playing games, creating crafts, and making memories that will last long after camp is over. From silly moments to big smiles, it was a week full of laughter, creativity, and confidence!

We are so proud of everything our campers accomplished and loved sharing their final performance with family and friends.

Thank you to all of our amazing dance families for trusting us with your dancers this week!

The greatest growth in a dancer isn’t measured by pointed toes, perfectly straight legs, or how many turns they can land.
It’s measured by confidence. 💗

The confidence to step into class without fear.
The confidence to try something new.
The confidence to perform with joy instead of worrying about being perfect.
The confidence to believe, “I can do this,” even before they have it mastered. 🎀

As a studio owner, one of the greatest compliments I can receive has nothing to do with technique. It’s when a parent tells me, “My child is so much more confident at home,” or “Their teacher says they’re speaking up more at school.”

That’s the kind of growth that means the most. 💕

Because while technique gives dancers the skills to succeed in the studio, confidence gives them the courage to succeed everywhere else.

Yes, we celebrate the pointed toes, straight legs, and stronger turns. But what we’re really building is young people who believe in themselves—on stage, in the classroom, at home, and wherever life leads them. 🌸

That’s the kind of success that lasts long after the music stops. 🩷✨
