So I was just told by a supplier that there will be a price increase in ammunition again next year. They were not able to confirm the date but if it follows patterns it will be mid January to mid February. This will mean that any ammo that is reordered will have the adjusted rate increase. Thank God it isn't like gas. Just letting everyone know. If you need it better get it.

So Christmas is upon us. We find ourselves busier than ever. Then throw in the rising cost of everything it is enough to stress everything out. If you are needing some last minute gifts for the shooter/hunter then come by the 13th Armory. We have ammo, supplies and parts available. We have also streamlined you buying experience so that tax is included with the purchase price.

We currently take cash and several apps for payment. We are working on a credit card machine. Also, keep an eye out for our new store page to be up soon. Come by and see us at 606 S Market St in Salem. We are here Friday and Saturday 10am to 6pm.

Well it has been a long road. Last year we had to move the business at the same time I had to get a knee replacement. Now throw in the current supply chain mess that is going on and we have the recipe for disaster. Since it is so hard to get anything right now and the current state of the new shop; we are only going to be open by appointment.

This will allow me more time to take care of individual needs (if I can get product) and get gun smith work done. I am currently taking transfers and the appointment schedule makes that easier due to shipping inconsistencies. I will be posting items of interest for sale but due to guidelines you will have to DM for pricing. If you don't like messaging, you can text our store number or call and leave a message. Messages are converted to email and text for me and allow me to make contact easier.

Thanks to all those people that have kept me going, it hasn't been easy.

So we are now officially closed until we can get the new shop open. We are not taking any work or transfers until we get the new place set up. I will post the address as soon as I get the lease taken care of and paperwork completed for the transition. I look forward to seeing everyone again soon and keep Freedom ringing. This is our last week in our current location. Saturday, April 24th will be the last day we are open to the public before we move our location due to the building being sold. We will be closed a couple months to make the transition complete and get the new shop set up. We will post on all social platforms when we have re-opened and get the new shop set up. In light of recent times, who here has changed their every day thought process going forward? Growing up in WV in the winters and being snowed in has prepared me for weeks of no power and blocked roads of snow and downed trees. I had to learn to plan for this early on. With what has recently happened, what have you learned or changed that we can share with each other. The goal is to give thoughts and ideas that we may not have considered before. At the Armory, our goal is always to help our fellow man. Knowledge is power and spreading that knowledge is key.
