I'm not going to be updating this page anymore I go through these cycles of alternating which craft activity I feel like doing for a few months or weeks, so it makes more sense to change this page to be about all my crafting activities, not just quilling. Anniversary gift I made for a friend. Didn't quite turn out the way I envisioned it, but it's not too bad. I think it would have been better without the loop in the M. Oh well. Overall, though, I'm happy with it. I drew out the letter outlines by hand. The background paper is a shimmery pearlescent that the kids picked out. They also suggested I add pink flowers.

I decided to try to do Mount Hood on my Oregon piece. I held a piece of paper up to the computer monitor and traced the outline of the mountain and then slipped it underneath the saran wrap on my workboard. I've got a few ideas for how to proceed, so now I just have to pick one and go with it.

Experimenting with resin and quilling. We've played with it a couple times before and it's been.......interesting. lol. Trying to find a way that has less bubbles. So far, thin layers has been successful. Today, we're adding enough to be level with the top of the paper and in a few days we'll finish it off. I'm excited to see how it turns out.
