Thank you Enlightened Theatrics for all you’ve done for theatre and the youth in our community! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Dear Enlightened Theatrics Supporters,

As you may have noticed we have yet to announce our 2024 season. Regional theaters across the country are facing many challenges in terms of funding and support; Enlightened Theatrics is certainly not immune to these challenges. We have been fortunate to have continued to serve the Salem community through the leadership of Jessica Peterson, completing our 2022 season and delivering a spectacular 2023 season, all while tirelessly working to find new avenues to fund both the productions and educational opportunities that Enlightened has offered our community.

Both Jessica and the board have determined that it is in the organizations best interest to go dark for the time being. We want to thank Jessica for all that she has done during her tenure and the positive impact she has had on the Salem community and wish her the best in her future endeavors. We ask our supporters for their patience as the board determines how to best continue to serve Salem in theater arts and education.

First - some big news about our Salem Theatre Network. We're changing our name to Mid-Valley Theatre Network to better reflect our membership. The name of this page will change soon.

Here's what network members are up to this weekend.

“A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder” is back on stage Oct. 12 at Pentacle Theatre - Salem, OR.

The KMUZ pledge drive continues through Oct. 14. Donations support KMUZ Theatre Talk and all the other great programming of this nonprofit community-driven radio station.

The Salem Playhouse offers a variety of classes for a variety of ages. For information, email [email protected].

Auditions for Keizer Homegrown Theatre's production of the farce "Boeing Boeing" are this Saturday, Oct. 14. at 1:30 p.m.

Looking ahead – auditions and openings are on tap at several member theaters next week. Watch this space for more information about those events next Wednesday.

has been with us as long as anyone. With the exception of my silly stuff I post for us on here, she runs our social media. So thank her for all the audition info and motivational quotes you see here on a daily basis! On top of that this is her like 4th show this year! She’s one of the hardest working people I know and is pushing herself to the next level of her career! Big shout outs to you ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Go see “Gentlemans guide to Love and Murder” opening this weekend at it’s a very lovely musical that will have you laughing and enjoying the entire time! It’s gonna be a wonderful run!

Good morning everyone! We don’t have an acting tip video today, but instead wanted to share our New! Newsletter lol. One of our adult students Delia came to me with this idea and I thought it would be a great way share what we’ve got going on at the Playhouse! I think she did an amazing job and I hope you all enjoy it!

She did a lovely interview with who just finished a run of curious incident of the dog and the nighttime over at . She’s awesome! You’ll really enjoy hearing her talk about the craft! Excited to continue spotlighting our students for you guys!
