Musician retires after 47 years with The Florida Orchestra

Most remarkable is her extraordinary reach from the back of the orchestra into our community and around the world through her gift of teaching. Thank you Bay News 9 for shining a light on a legend at TFO.

Wahl enjoys teaching as much as performing

Puts’ Spacey ‘Contact’ Is A Close Encounter For Trio And Orchestra | Classical Voice North America

“So how did this accessible, emotional, virtuosic work come off in its premiere? In brief: It was sensational.” Read John Fleming’s review of the world premiere of Contact with The Florida Orchestra and Time for Three. We are so proud to be part of giving life to this stellar work.

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – As an opera composer, Kevin Puts tells stories, but that instinct also extends to his latest work for symphony orchestra, a triple concerto called Contact that he wrote for the crossover string trio Time for Three.

They had so much fun performing as well as talking about the important life skills they learn in class every week! Our young violinists and their families also got to see TFO musicians perform live. Great Coffee Concert today. Stuart and the musicians definitely were on their A game today. Thank you!
Loved tonight's concert! It was refreshing! Natalie played beautifully - She is gifted and we're thankful she's sharing her gift!
Loved the One Giant Leap concert and so did my grandkids!
This was my daughter’s review of the performance she attended with her school on Oct. 17th. She says, “The wondrous sounds of string instruments almost sung me to sleep, the smooth ballet moves quick and professional. It left me in a state of astonishment, trying to lean close as humanly possible without leaving the comfy red seats. It was all beautiful, and I couldn’t help but think how lucky I was to attend the Florida Orchestra!” My daughter's name is Kimora Christian, 9yr. Old, and in the 4th grade. Thank you for filling her soul with your beautiful performances.
want to perform a piece, where can we send the score to? cheers, THX
