Highlights from The Florida Orchestra Youth Concerts in Pinellas County!
The Florida Orchestra is proud to present our annual Youth Concerts to nearly 5,500 elementary students from Pinellas County Schools !
We recently packed the Mahaffey Theater and Ruth Eckerd Hall to celebrate Music is Our Voice, led by Resident Conductor Chelsea Gallo. With the help of ECE Director Michelle Kim-Painter, Alex Boyd, and Sara Elisa Villa, students sang, danced, and performed body percussion with the orchestra as they played Beethoven's Ode to Joy and more.
These engaging full-orchestra concerts are held in collaboration with teachers to strengthen music education for students. We look forward to more concerts this spring with Hillsborough County Schools.
Whatâs Inside the Music really like? Weâll let patrons speak for themselves.
