Some of our favorite nights of the year happen on the waterfront, from Tampa to St. Pete. 💙 Here’s a look back at Raymond James Pops in the Park, and a reminder that the next one is almost here!

🎟 FREE for everyone

Pack a picnic, grab a blanket, and bring your favorite people. Chelsea Gallo leads TFO in movie music, Broadway favorites and classical hits. The night ends with a park-wide Ode to Joy sing-along. Family activities and community performances start at 5 pm. We’re also collecting non-perishable food and school supplies for neighbors in need.

Our first Morning Matinees of the season were everything we’d hoped for at Ruth Eckerd Hall and the Mahaffey Theater. James led us through Françaix’s The Flower Clock, where each movement opens like a flower, led by Resident Conductor Chelsea Gallo (Chelsea Gallo)

Big thanks to our partners Kahwa Coffee Roasters (Kahwa Coffee - CELEBRATING 20 YEARS!) and Parlor Doughnuts (Parlor Doughnuts) for keeping our early risers happy, and to the Helen Torres Foundation for making it all possible.

Now THAT'S how you open a season.

We truly had a blast — hope you did, too! — with Music Director Michael Francis, our amazing musicians, The Master Chorale of Tampa Bay and soloist Sean Panikkar.

And if you were there, you know … you have to wait for the very end of Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overture for our version of fireworks. (Hint: spoilers in the photos)

We open the season with cannons: Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture. Then we head to Paris with coffee and doughnuts, sing along to the Beatles, get swept away by Scheherazade, and close the month with John Williams’ greatest scores.

Michael Francis launches Opening Weekend with Rossini's William Tell Overture at full gallop, then pulls back for Christopher Theofanidis' The Gift, a stunning moment with tenor Sean Panikkar. And then it's all firepower: Beethoven's Wellington's Victory and Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overture, with the Master Chorale of Tampa Bay at full force.

Tonight’s Disney’s Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl in Concert had the Mahaffey buzzing! 🎶 Thank you to the Master Chorale of Tampa Bay, Conductor Lawrence Loh, and Ye Mystic Krewe of Gasparilla for greeting our audience with beads.

What a way to start the game — and a Rays win to finish it! 🎵⚾

Musicians from The Florida Orchestra’s brass and percussion sections took the field to perform the national anthem, led by Resident Conductor Chelsea Gallo, before the Tampa Bay Rays faced the A’s.

It was a thrill to bring the sound of TFO to the ballpark and share this special moment with our Tampa Bay community. Take a look and a listen.
