It’s time for the annual return of the Grim Cupid and his special brand of Gothic Valentine’s Day events!
This year’s theme is the dark side of the mermaid: the Siren and her Song. Artists of all levels are invited to submit and participate in the event. The show opening is Feb. 14 during the Second Saturday art walk, 5 - 9 PM.

The SPIRITS of St. Petersburg will be there to share ghost stories, and select the Most SPIRITed award-winning piece.
Returning back for the 9th consecutive year is Lady Darjuxena’s Bats and B.R.E.W.S. Show featuring the Gothic Goddesses of cosplay belly dance and pinellas county’s original witch dance group! DJ and her team fuse belly, dance, flow arts, cosplay, and sometimes fire!
Oracle, tarot and Bone readers to figure out your future or your future romance with Bio Amanda Ranville-Lovell
Amanda Ranville-Lovell, originally from Flint, Michigan, has been a professional card reader and psychic medium since 2016 but has been reading tarot and oracle cards since 1998. Amanda discovered her mediumship gifts around age 4 when she started seeing and communicating with ghosts and spirits. She is also an artist and enjoys building with Legos and cooking for family and friends. Amanda is a resident of Saint Petersburg and co-owner of Witchworks Apothecary.

Born in St. Pete in 2015, Valentwe’en blends Halloween, eco-spirit, and supernatural romance. Explore haunted hearts, ghostly courtships, and stories with data on local lore and legends that shaped this quirky holiday.
The month kicks off with a special Metaphysical Crystal 101 Workshop, Feb. 7. 4 - 6 PM. Learn the basics of the metaphysical properties of crystals from NCCAOM PDA Certified Dr. Brandy Stark. This 2-hour session will also include a jewelry make and take, and a sneak peek at this year’s Valentwe’en show. Workshop takes place at the Creative Loft, located at ArtLofts. 13 seats available, $50 per person. Tickets may be purchased at www.spiritsofstpete.com
Feb. 11, Haunted History Trolley Tour, 6:30 - 8: Dr. Brandy Stark will be leading a Haunted History trolley tour for the St. Petersburg Museum of History that includes a stop at ArtLofts for a special sneak preview of the show. Tickets for the tour are $35 - $40 and may be purchased at www.spmoh.org.
Feb. 13, St. Petersboo Walking Ghost Tour, 6:30-8:30: Dr. Brandy Stark will lead an interactive haunted walking tour of downtown St. Petersburg from 6:30 - 8:30. As it is a Friday the 13th, the tour has a special discount code of Valentween13 to save $13.13 per person. 13 spots are available. Feb. 21: Roser Park Walking Ghost Tour, 6:30 - 7:30: If you missed the GhostFest Trolley Tours of Haunted Roser Park, then try our once-a-year walking tour of this very haunted historic neighborhood! 15 spots are available fo $30 per person. Tickets are available at roserparkishaunted.com

We currently have a call for artists to participate in the show. It is free to participate in this lightly juried art show. Each artist may submit one wired work, properly framed and ready for hanging. Please keep to the theme of mermaids, sirens, Gothic Valentine’s Day, and dark serenades. (We would also love to have live music, so let us know if you are interested!)
