Immediate opportunity. Currently casting for Dead Canary Theatre's next production, HIR by Taylor Mac.

Seeking: Arnold (40's-60's), the patriarch of a family on the brink. Recently had a stroke, so he is mostly non-verbal and is at the mercy of his wife, who is quickly losing touch with reality herself. Arnold was cold, mean, and abusive before the stroke; now he is timid, scared, and a prisoner in his body. A GREAT role for a character actor.

Paid role. Non-Union.

Rehearsals begin April 16th. Run is May 14- May 24, Thursdays through Sundays. Dead Canary Theatre is a resident company of The Studio at 620 in DTSP.
