Last year, our partnership on Cadillac Crew packed the house night after night thanks to this incredible community. This fall, The Studio and Powerstories Theatre are teaming up once again to bring you a story that will shake the rafters: The Wash, directed by the phenomenal Erica Sutherlin!

Inspired by the fiery true history of the 1881 Atlanta Washerwomen’s Strike, The Wash follows a fearless group of Black laundresses who refused to back down—uniting an entire city to demand fair pay, respect, and dignity.

It’s vibrant. It’s hilarious. It’s deeply moving. Above all, it’s a powerful celebration of sisterhood, community, and what happens when ordinary people decide enough is enough. 💪🏾💥
