Tonight’s question for the curious mind...
If you could see how many times you survived something by becoming harder, which walls would you finally admit you no longer need?
Some walls deserve respect.
They were built when you needed them.
They protected something vulnerable when life gave you a reason to stop leaving it exposed.
But survival has a strange habit.
Sometimes the danger leaves...
and the defenses stay.
Eventually, the same wall that keeps pain from getting in can start keeping connection, trust, love, and possibility out.
Maybe healing doesn't mean regretting the walls you built.
Maybe it means being brave enough to ask whether you're still living through the war that required them.
What are you still protecting yourself from?
Wonder is the beginning of wisdom.
