Auditions for The Suffragette's Murder are coming up July 19-20. This comedy, murder mystery is set in the mid-1800s and has a lively cast of characters, each with secrets. It's a new play, written by the playwright of Clue, that debuted in 2025 in Denver, and we'll be the 2nd theater to produce it.

Tomorrow, Sunday June 21st, from 12p-3p as Wordier Than Thou and friends hosts their first Queerlastic Book Fair at SPCT. Annual Meeting, Michael Awards AND All Together Now! performance
Come and celebrate St. Petersburg City Theatre’s 101st season with all our members!SPCT will hold its Annual Meeting and Election on Friday, July 31, 2026 at 6 p.m. which includes a Membership Appreciation meal. A special benefit of membership this year is a non-transferable complimentary ticket to the MTI All Together Now fundraiser July 31 at 7:30 p.m. The Michael Awards (our theatre’s recognition of the 2025-2026 season and all the volunteers that made it a success) will follow the fundraiser at approximately 8:30 p.m. A dessert reception will follow the Michael Awards.

It's that time of year again! We are wrapping up the last season and July 1st kicks off the 2026-2027 Season. The link to annual membership renewals for next season is now live on our website www.spcitytheatre.org/become-a-member.
100% of your membership fees fund our productions. There are several benefits to becoming a member, but this year there is an ADDED benefit that with your membership, you will be invited to attend the Friday 7/31 evening performance of All Together Now for free which will occur between the Annual Meeting and the Michael Awards. The Michael Awards ballot will be sent the week of July 6th and voting is strictly limited to active and renewed members.

We are saddened to share that Sharon Cook passed away June 3rd. Sharon was a esteemed Legacy member of City Theatre (formerly St. Petersburg Little Theatre). Sharon had a great love of this community theatre and gave her time, talent and treasure over many years. She stepped up to be President to guide the theatre through a difficult time because she believed in the importance of theatre by the community and for the community. We are grateful for Sharon’s love and dedication.
