Pepper Raefin is a formally trained painter and sculptor who attained her BA in Art (Minor in Art History) at the University of Texas, San Antonio. Both pre and post-degree, she participated in group and solo fine art shows nationally. She learned to tattoo in Hawaii, completing a formal apprenticeship at a nationally renowned shop in Waikiki and has been tattooing professionally for six years. Sc
ott Hepworth is a talented tattoo artist who has been tattooing for over two decades. He is proficient in all styles of tattooing and is also a very well respecting tattoo machine builder. Scott currently tattoos at 13 Arrows Tattoo and also travels to work with his loyal clientele in Nashville.

Yesterday was a mixed bag of emotions. Pinky had to make the very difficult decision to move back to Texas. She will be back periodically for guest spots because she has so many loyal clients here. It’s not goodbye, it’s see you later. We love her with all our hearts. ❤️ BUT today was also Eden Xavier’s first time tattooing a human, A wishbone on Kelsey… stay tuned!

On Friday a client came to me to get a tattoo he had wanted for a long time. He had been having some difficulty finding a tattoo artist to take it on. Silhouette tattoos or heavy black ink tattoos can be problematic overtime, with ink migration leading to a “blob“ affect years down the road. So I added a bunch of texture to this piece to give it some longevity, and I’m thrilled with how it came out. Took some liberties with the reference photo in order to make it a long lasting Tattoo. -Pepper

HALLOWEEN SPECIAL: Pepper has created some little flash tombstone tattoos and they will be available on Friday, October 27th! They are $60 each and about 3 inches give or take, no changes. This may be one of the only times she does lettering and small tattoos, so get on it! Please make appointments as she cannot accommodate walk-ins. Appointments will be between 12:30 and 5:30, every hour on the hour. The planchette shown is $100 for black ink only and $150 for color. Please inquire, as the planchette will be available on October 30th at 6:30pm and won't be duplicated. Thanks, and message soon to get an appointment!
