Special thanks to Word of Life Fellowship Church,First Lady Teralyn Hodge, Sandra Flowers, Rocking Crabs Seafood and Bar…and all the ladies that participated,who did such a great job… considering some of them had never painted before or been to a painting party…
Doing it freehand is a lot more challenging than using a pre-drawn pattern but… the pride of knowing you did it yourself is priceless!!!

I had a radio interview..several news paper reporters stopped by… plus St.Pete Mayor Rick Kriseman and candidate for Mayor Ken Welch and Nikki Capheart with Urban Affairs also stopped by…I saw people I haven’t seen in years…family , neighbors…you name it… it was like a reunion…this was a great event!… can’t wait to next year,and looking forward to seeing a few new found friends.

Bringing the community together! volunteers staring the day off with exercise...
The City of St.Petersburg,Cohort of Champions,Child’s Park Neighborhood Association, Keep Pinellas Beautiful all came together to clean up the Child’s part neighborhood...after they finished.. they celebrating Black History Month, with a Cultural Arts Painting Party...while enjoying the lake side water view and beautiful weather.
