a bill allowing children to work 8 hours on school days/nights
Criminalization of homelessness (unless staying in location with security, barhroom & shower facilities AND they are providing no funding to provide these services

Sooooo - here we go again. This bill prohibits the state, contractors who work for the state and non-profit organizations from recognizing a persons gender identity, or from providing any training for employees on gender issues (there will be “great” customer service with this😔).

PLEASE, if you have any LGBTQ friends, or are an LGBTQ ally - PLEASE contact your Florida representatives and voice your opposition to this bill. It is dreadful, it seeks to literally erase some of our citizens, many who have lived happy, successful lives for years. Please speak up, please ask your friends to take action too. Florida is better than this, our citizens are better than this.

Did you know you need to re-register
for a mail-in ballot?
Florida law now requires new mail-in ballot requests each cycle.

So, a few things to remember:

Governor DeSantis and the Florida Legislature have increasingly tightened our election laws.

Requesting a a mail-in ballot simply gives you the option to vote by mail. You can still vote in person until and including election day by dropping off your ballot. There is no downside in requesting one.

Requesting a vote by mail ballot gives you multiple options to ensure your voice is heard at the polls.

Check your mail-in ballot status and request a ballot mailed to you by going to www.votepinellas.gov or call (717) 464 8683.
