We are well known for our unique pirate festivals, bringing interactive performers, live musicians, treasure hunts, costume contests, themed vendors and free family fun to a growing number of communities in the Sunshine State. Additional event productions include art and craft shows, seafood festivals, water themed events, music festivals, pet adoption fundraisers and a popular “end of summer” cel

ebration, which draws over 30,000 attendees to the one day show. All of the festivals and events are family friendly and free for the public to attend, while also being affordable for artisans and crafters. Suzanne King (aka. Pirate Suzie) has been arranging festivals since 2000. Starting with her enthusiasm for all things Pirate, she began arranging the annual John Levique Pirates Day in Johns Pass where she worked at the Friendly Fisherman Restaurant. As a local resident of Gulfport, Florida she became active in the Gulfport Merchants Association and brought her expertise with vendors to the bi-weekly Art Walks. Over 45 Vendors are placed twice monthly, fees collected; records kept, and standards for vendors are all perfected by Suzie. Suzanne’s professionalism with vendors has led her to become the primary event coordinator for: Geckofest, an end of summer celebration for the Gulfport Merchants Association; Springfest, an Easter weekend festival for the Gulfport Chamber of Commerce and Get Rescued in Gulfport, an animal rescue event.

The Gulfport Night Market will be officially under new management starting in October ! The professional event management team at S*K Promotions, Inc invites local makers, artisans, and small business vendors to secure their space for a high-visibility, beautifully organized upcoming season.

Market Details & Benefits
• Proven Traffic: Our prime location in the Waterfront Arts District guarantees fantastic foot traffic, driven by 12+ popular local dining and live music venues.
• Operating Hours: The Gulfport Night Market operates from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM on the first Friday and third Saturday of each month.
• Participation Fee: $50 per 10’ x 10’ space.

Vendor Eligibility & Focus: The Night Market is dedicated to supporting local creators and building a vibrant, high-quality shopping experience.
• Primary Focus: We primarily accept vendors who make what they sell, including local artists, handcrafters, and a limited number of unique, boutique-style businesses.
• Accepted Products: Booking is open for categories including local art of all media, clothing, jewelry, pet products, and packaged artisan foods meant for take-home.
• Food & Beverage Note: Food vendors cooking on site will not be given priority booking out of respect and support for Gulfport’s established brick-and-mortar restaurants. A limited number of specialty vendors may be booked on a rotational basis.

Ready to Participate?
Our team uses Convention force as the platform for all applications, communications, scheduling, and invoicing. There is no application fee to apply to the Gulfport Night Market.

It’s amazing how QUICK this year is flying by. Currently, we are filling our 2027 race calendar and just started planning a NEW and EXCITING 🤩 full derby event coming in January 2027! It’s going to be HUGE & FAST FURRY FUN! Those details will be announced as soon as we finalize a date and honestly…I am very much looking forward to this one!!!
Well the FWDD Sweet 16 is filling up quickly and quicker than in previous years!
But if you want to get a practice race in…we have Wiener Dog and Wanna-Be Wiener Race & Agility Rally at Florida Foodies Fest next Saturday in St. Petersburg at Win! Derby Lane. As of today, we have 12 Dachshund spots left! Agility rally had about 11 spots left. This is a fun game with agility equipment and a twist…all levels are welcome and can compete! What a weekend on Corey Avenue!

The Corey Ave Art & Craft Festival brought two full days of artists, makers, shoppers, families, food, sunshine, and plenty of “wait, we need to check this booth out” moments to St. Pete Beach.

Thank you to everyone who came out to stroll the festival, support the vendors, visit our local businesses, grab a bite, and spend part of your weekend in the district.

Events like this are a great reminder of what makes Corey Avenue special. It’s not just one weekend. It’s the shops, restaurants, galleries, bars, services, and small businesses that make this walkable St. Pete Beach district worth coming back to again and again.

As you can tell by the crowd, the heat hasn’t slowed down things a bit here at the Tarpon Springs Sponge Docks Craft Festival.

Shop unique pieces from our vendors, talented artisans and craftsman from across Florida, and when you need a break, head inside one of the shops or restaurants here at the Sponge Docks, enjoy a cold drink, delicious food, and of course…the AC, and then head out for round two.

If you need something to do tonight, the festival goes on until seven tonight and then runs from 10-5 on Sunday.

So there’s no excuse, call your friends, grab your neck fan or mister, and head to Tarpon for the best summer craft festival in Pinellas County.
