✨We are thrilled to announce our special guest artist Pranysqa Mishra! ✨

Pranysqa is a 10 year old powerhouse from Tampa, FL who recently received the golden buzzer on America’s Got Talent!

Pranysqa’s viral rendition of the National Anthem and her unforgettable AGT performances have garnered media attention worldwide.

She has performed the National Anthem at prestigious events including the US Open 2023, Tennis World Cup, Fox 9/11 event NY and multiple NFL and NBA games throughout the US and Canada.
Other credits include performances at the Apollo Theatre in NYC and various Regional Theatres in the Tampa Bay area.

✨This year “A Very Broadway Christmas” will be featuring the Pinellas County Center for the Arts Vox Nova Chamber Choir! We are honored to support young local artists in our community. We will be raising money and donating to help these artists on there upcoming International Choir Tour! ✨

About the Tour

Pinellas County Center for the Arts Vox Nova Chamber Choir at Jonathan C. Gibbs High school will embark on an International Choir Tour during Spring Break 2025. This culturally immersive 8-day trip is the first of its kind for our school and life-changing for our students as we perform choir concerts in Spain and Portugal. Gibbs High School is one of the oldest public schools in Pinellas County, and prior to its opening, there were no high schools in St. Petersburg serving African American students. Several choir members have requested full financial assistance to pay for this trip and 75% of our student body is eligible for free/reduced lunches.

About the Ensemble

The Pinellas County Center for the Arts Vox Nova Chamber Choir is a tour de force ensemble of high school singers on tour from St. Petersburg, Florida. Our 30 auditioned musicians perform the highest levels of mixed voice a ca****la repertoire in a variety of venues and regularly receive superior ratings at District and State Performance Assessments

“A Very Broadway Christmas” is a theatrical spectacular featuring the largest collection of Broadway talent to hit the stage in St. Pete. Broadway Stars sing your favorite Christmas songs from Broadway and the radio in true Broadway style with a live band and an ensemble of dancers. Be transported to the Big Apple for a holiday evening filled with Broadway style production numbers, Elves, and even Santa! Come spend an evening at the Mahaffey Theater with Stars from shows such as Wicked, Phantom of the Opera, Book of Mormon, Gypsy, Matilda, Pretty Woman, Beautiful, Annie, Shrek, and many more! DESCRIPTION:
SEEKING: Chorus singers and dancers of all types and backgrounds for Broadway on the Bay’s A Very Broadway Christmas r***e featuring Broadway stars singing holiday classics at The Mahaffey Theater in St. Pete, FL

[SINGERS] 16+. Seeking excellent singers to join the Broadway on the Bay professional choir. Singers must be able to hold tight harmonies and blend with other voices. Singers may be asked to move/dance as needed, but not required. Video Submissions will be considered and asked to attend callbacks on 9/22/24 after the Open Call.

[DANCERS] 16+. Excellent dancers, to play Rockette types and Elves. Acting skills and acrobatics are a plus. It is advised to come to the Open Call on 9/22/24, but if there is a conflict in the schedule, you may submit a video stating your inability to be in person on 9/22/24.

PREPARATION
[SINGERS]: Prepare 32 bars of your own song in the style of musical theater or Christmas. Choose your vocal part and prepare the final 32 bars of Sparklejollytwinklejingley (see link).

[DANCERS]: Be prepared to dance in comfortable clothing for all styles (specifically hip hop and rockette). Sneakers, Jazz/character, and tap shoes. Bring a photo/resume stapled together.
