New Exhibit – “Through The Window” by Jeanine Newcomb
Artlofts proudly presents, “Through The Window” opening reception during Artwalk, Saturday 9/10 in the second floor gallery above Florida Craftart. The exhibit is a collection of narrative oil paintings exploring the blurred line between the sacred and the mundane. Newcomb’s work invites the viewer into a private world and seeks to consider our coexistence in a speck of time, the awareness that our lives perhaps random events within an infinite universe. Stop by and see this unique exhibit then visit with the artists in their studios.

New Exhibit – “Encaustic Treasures..A Florida Wax Show” by Artlofts Artists
Come on up and feel the buzz.
Artlofts proudly presents, “Encaustic Treasures…A Florida Wax Show” opening reception during Artwalk, Saturday 8/13 at 5:00pm to 9:00pm in the second floor gallery above Florida Craftart.
What is encaustic? This ancient medium which literally means “to burn in” in Greek uses beeswax and heat to create luminous, layered art.
The Florida Encaustic Artists, was founded in 2017 by Shelley Jean, and now has 15 members who share their love of encaustic painting. This unique exhibit will show the groups’ diverse techniques including photo encaustic, collage, and shellac burn. In addition, the artists will be on sight conducting demonstrations during the evening reception on 8/13.
Exhibit is free and open to the public from 8/13 to 8/28
