This is what you get when you mix the Florida Wildlife Corridor Foundation , SHINE St. Petersburg Mural Festival , Alyssa Marie Gallery St PetersBARK and 200 volunteer painters over the course of just 3 days!!

Thank you so much to SHINE for having us back for another incredible mural festival! And to the Florida Wildlife Corridor Foundation for sponsoring this project so over 200 community members could participate in something that will connect them through art to the city they love!!

We CANNOT believe how amazing the 5th grade students were from Mrs. Newton’s art classes today! ⠀
⠀
We worked with four school bus loads of WONDERFUL little artists. I don’t think we have heard “Yes sir” or “No ma’am” that much in our entire lives. 🤣⠀

To the families of these wonderful kids- you should be proud. Every single person who touched the wall today was an upstanding human. We can only hope every group we paint with is half as well-behaved, respectful and fun as your kids!

Look at all these amazing artists that showed up yesterday! We had an unbelievable turnout! Even to the point where we ran out of paint 😳 ⠀

But don’t you worry your little artists hearts, we got more! ⠀

We are assuming that the wind is going to keep us from painting today, but plan to help us finish this wall on Wednesday from 10am-4pm. ⠀
