ICYMI last week, Atelier de SoSi's newest show “Trashed” is on exhibit for ArtWalk on March 12th. “Trashed” is an art show where 85% of the materials have been found or otherwise set aside to be “Trashed”. This seven-week show focuses on “Turning Trash into Treasure” and is meant to shed some light on what we so easily toss aside to be sent to our landfills and waterways. Artists have a unique way of looking at objects through a different lens.
These artists have taken “trash” and transformed it into imaginative pieces of unique artwork. The show includes sculptural, functional and beautiful objects. This will be a rare chance to snag one-of-a-kind pieces for the local art lover. In addition to our “Trashed” show we will be showcasing a “Makers” pop up.

If you haven't seen the "Feline" exhibit at Atelier de SoSi yet, THIS Saturday during ArtWalk is the perfect time! Stop by from 5-9pm for their closing night for “Feline” curated by Danyell Bauer, an art show for cat lovers. This six-week show focused solely on feline inspired art, including sculptures, paintings, collages, prints, and other eclectic pieces based on the fantastic felines of the world.
> In addition to this exhibit, they are showcasing their newest, resident artist, Patti Suzette. Patti is a Florida based visual artist that has been pushing the boundaries of color in her animal-themed artwork for the past several years. Her work marries nature with an urban grunge that is representative of the man-made changes to natural habitat.
> They will also have a special “makers” pop up where they chose a few local artists to showcase their fabulous handmade good.

It's opening night for “Old Florida Summer” at Atelier de SoSi during ArtWalk on June 12th from 5-9pm. This is a show dedicated to celebrating summer in Florida with sunsets, beaches, and more featuring Mark Mitchell, Timothy Raines, Diane V.
